Our Mission is to preserve and celebrate the culture and history of Jackson County, Tennessee with community-driven events, and to provide funding for other local organizations who provide necessary resources for our residents.

Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter rescues and cares for lost and abandoned animals, providing safety, shelter, and love. We work with our community to find each pet a caring, prepared forever home.
Together, the Poke Sallet Foundation, Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter, and SPARTN share one mission — strengthening our community through compassion and action. From supporting local families and events, to rescuing animals in need, to giving hope and rehabilitation to primates, these nonprofits work hand in hand to make Jackson County a place of care, connection, and positive impact for all.
